He captioned the clip: "He was tired of really long hair and drove one hour for this transformation. He got a textured fringe with a blowout and couldn't believe it was him at the end." The video shows the customer fed up with his long mane. The barber asks: "Do you want to cut it all off? " To which the customer responds affirmatively with a straightforward: "Yep."

Given a picture of the desired haircut, the barber got down to business. He began by slicing off the lengthy hair with a razor before tidying up the fringe.
In no time, the teen looked completely different, sporting his new 'do. The footage captures the customer's joy as he checks out his new look in the mirror. Since it was posted, the video has racked up 2.6 million likes and 13,900 comments. One viewer wrote: "This barber is changing lives" while another said: "Biggest save in barber history."
A third fan commented: "Completely different person" and a fourth TikTok viewer chimed in: "I would never cheat on this barber." Another person agreed, claiming the "power of a haircut is insane". Hair trends to go viral thanks to TikTok include hair dusting, which is the process of snipping off split ends strand by strand.
A salon professional at said that care needed to be taken if you're keen to try hair dusting at home - for once hair cutting scissors are needed, while kitchen ones won't do. They recommend sectioning your hair, before looping it under your index finger and over your middle finger tightly.
Then it's key to move your fingers down the hair slowly, while cutting off any split ends that poke out. "You can also twist your hair and do the same thing," they continued. "This is a very time-consuming process, particularly if you have thick hair, as you’re cutting individual strands. Don’t go into this process expecting to catch every single split end on your head."
